Good day fellow anglers,
This is a urgent call for those who have expressed an interest in our May 2009 trip to Bassas da India. Please could you let us know by tomorrow (Fri 20 Feb) if you would like to join us on this exciting adventure. The 4 remaining places will be allocated on a first come first served basis.
Bassas da India is a legendary coral atoll in the Indian Ocean, formed by the rim of an underwater volcano that rises up some 3000m from the ocean bed. It is situated about halfway between Mozambique and Madagascar and accessed only by live-a-board yacht. Remote, wild and teeming with tackle busting fish, this is hardcore saltwater flyfishing at its best!
Liquid Horizon has secured the use of a 47ft Leopard Catamaran and experienced crew to access this atoll. This is the same yacht that featured recently on TV in the "Wildfly" fishing series.
Unlike other operators who cram you in and restrict your fishing at Bassas, we are limiting the numbers to only 5 anglers per trip. Based on a spacious live-a-board yacht with two tender boats, we are able to offer total flexibility, and ensure that you maximise your fishing time. You can fish on foot from the atoll, or from the tender boats and even from the yacht as we are always in the hot zone!
Dates are 06 - 15 May 2009 and we have 4 spaces remaining...
Cost is R25,750 per person (ex Vilanculos, Mozambique)
