AUGUST 2009 FLYFISHING UPDATE
Hi everybody, and welcome to Liquid Horizons August newsletter.

We have just returned from a fantastic trip to the Jardines De La Reina islands in Cuba. What a fishery! This definitely rates as one of the best destinations I have ever visited. A full article on our adventure will be published in the October issue of The Complete Fly Fisherman Magazine.

CUBA 2010 - DON'T MISS THIS ONE!
This is one of the most remote, beautiful and non-commercialised parts of the flyfishing world - and rates as one of the best operations and top destinations we have visited! Tarpon, bonefish, permit, jack crevalle and Cubera snapper abound and there is an amazing array of terrain to fish - from ankle deep flats to wild, bottomless coral drop offs.
 
Where in the world can you be sight casting at tarpon on the flats one minute, and only a few minutes later be watching your line melt off your spool into the deep blue as a 100lb Cubera Snapper puts your tackle to the test!?

The operator has exclusive rights to these waters and our live-a-board base is totally mobile which means that there are thousands of acres of flats, reefs and channels to explore - all right on your doorstep. The price is excellent and this is definitely a trip not to be missed!
