Ideal for teambuilding, relaxation or just as a treat to your esteemed clients our unique events take place at spectacular Fizantakraal Private Trout Lodge and consist of a day of fun fly fishing, good food and great wine.

In a style of Jamie Olivier meets “A River Runs Through It”, guests are introduced to the gentle art of fly-fishing in an entertaining and interactive manner and then get to practise their newfound art in three picturesque and well stocked trout dams. Our professional guides ensure that guests are given the best possible chance of catching their own trout.

After a fun and interactive fly fishing session, our on site gourmet chef will demonstrate delicious and innovative ways of preparing fresh trout as well as serving a full luncheon paired with some excellent local wines.

We have a variety of different menus to suit your taste and budget, and each event can be completely tailor-made to your requirements. There are other activities available (such as walking, swimming and trout hatchery tours), and your own talks and presentations can be incorporated into the itinerary.

The events are suitable for everyone, and prizes can be presented to participants at the end of the day.
